While waiting at the doctors' surgery I noticed a lady coming in. She looked very sad and depressed. She came and sat with me and we started to chat.
She said she hadn't a family now and she was all alone. I mentioned that I have a spiritual family and we come together to worship God and to remember what Jesus has done for us all each Sunday. It's very uplifting and comforting and the togetherness is great, just what we all need !
I suggested that she could come to our little church on a Sunday morning. It would be a great help to her. It is so reassuring to bring our feelings to God especially when we meet with others of the same mind.
Why not give it a try ? Our little church is at the bottom of Suggitt's Lane near the new bridge' We are known as Christadelphians and we meet every Sunday morning at 10.30 am, we also have a bible class/chat every Wednesday 1pm till 2, God willing.
